Of course, traveling by car is probably the most popular way to get to downtown. The core of downtown is located where US-23 (Chisholm St/State St) meets Second Ave.
If you are traveling in east on M-32, just keep going when it turns to Washington Ave. Keep going past the Thunder Bay River and row of Victorian homes, and you'll find us! If you are traveling north or south on US-23, you'll hit downtown from either direction! On Google Maps, just search "Downtown Alpena, Michigan" and it will direct you to the heart of our downtown near Culligan Plaza. There is plenty of public parking for you to leave your car. Downtown is best enjoyed by foot! |

There are about seven units downtown; most of them are located above restaurants and shops, which means you're in walking distance to all that downtown has to offer. Alpena has many units that are located nearer to the beaches; if you're booking one on State Ave or near Starlite/Michekewis/Blair Street Beach, you'll be about a mile from our downtown. These all make great options if you are looking for a longer stay.
