Outdoor Dining in Downtown Alpena
 Interested in placing outdoor furniture for seating/dining near your business? As of spring 2022, any business placing furniture outside for the purpose of outdoor dining needs to file a one-time Outdoor Seating & Dining Service application. Once City & DDA staff review and approve your application, you're good to go! Having an application process ensures that we can work together to keep 36" of clearance on the sidewalks (an ADA requirement) so that all visitors can safely walk through our district.
