Art in the Loft

Art in the Loft is a premier, regional fine arts center and gallery located on the third floor of the Center Building in Downtown Alpena. Their mission is to enrich the quality of life in Northeast Michigan through art exhibits and  Art in the Loft is a space for local artists to display and sell their work as well as a fine arts center offering classes in visual and culinary arts to everyone in the community regardless of age, ability or identity. Bob's Bullpen

Bob's Bullpen is more than a comic book shop. After expanding into the adjacent space in 2018, Bob's Bullpen has begun to offer classes in art and illustration. For more information on their classes and schedule, click here.

My Glass Wings

My Glass Wings is a stained glass studio and gift shop featuring one-of-a-kind custom pieces from owner Tina Montgomery as well as stained glass classes, supplies and repairs. For more information, click here.

Thunder Bay Arts Council & Gallery
127 W. Chisholm St.

Thunder Bay Art is a cooperative gallery comprised of local artists from Northeast Michigan. The gallery is sponsored by Thunder Bay Arts Council, which is also responsible for bringing art in all forms to the community and organizing "Art on the Bay," an art fair that takes place adjacent to downtown every July.
